Jazzed up the tru tungsten with a trout pattern.

This should decimate the bass come winter.

Does the DFG stock 2.5" rainbows?

That's nearly four inches, actually.

ive seen tiny trout. not all the trout in the hatchery get well fed, the weaker members are small due to malnutrition.

its a shame i cant take a pic really highlighting the lure's beauty.

Really nice job Smokehound. Better make sure the pin on that darn lure is held in tight!

The first image was in poor lighting, making the colors look wrong..

Here's a better shot. For some reason my camera just wont pick up the iridescence.

Very nice work! Yup the last couple loads of trout dumped in Silverwood had a mixture of from 4" about to 15", weird plants. I've seen them dump sub-catchable's that time of the year but normally they are all relatively close in size.

At Mead when they use to dump trout in there a couple years back (basstards stopped planting!) we use to throw anywhere from 4" storms to 8", the 4" were responsible for a 20lbs or 2 for my Nevada fishing buddy.

Sometimes size doesn't matter, at least I'd like to think so.

You know she was only being nice when she told you that.

I'm tempted to add a mix of yellow and chartreuse to the belly, but IMO this looks good.
