Enjoyed a nice day on Silverwood Lake Friday July 12th. WE trolled some umbrellas for a while but got nothing we we set up near the buoy in Cleghorn canyon and caught a few small strippers. Then we went over to the outlet and found a few more small strippers and one four pound catfish. Around noon we went over to a high spot I found near the entrance to outhouse cove. We set up on top of the high spot and tossed over some nightcrawlers and were immediately bit. We caught small strippers almost non stop for a a few hours until we ran out of bait. Not a bad day all in all. Didn't even get too hot.
