I discovered that using a light split shot with power bait worked very well ... where I had a 2nd line in the water using standard sliding sinker setup. I tried various methods of moving the bait ... retrieving slowly ... adding little jerks ... etc.
Kinda like using a plastic worm ... which I had tried also ... with no success
No luck on the sinker rig ... but a limit within about an hour using the light split shot. Obviously, I couldn't cast very far ... but about as far as I needed.
BTW ... also ... don't forget to try Fl. Red power bait. It was the one that was working. Reminded me that I hadn't tried Spring Green in a while ... anybody else?
