lake elizabeth infested! !!!!!!

Sooo I went on a lil recon to see how thw lake was doing and I found a bunch of these dead on the shore.idk how they got in the lake but it sucks even though it's on its last leg.

I was out there today too with my kids and couldn't belive how bad that place has gotten between the burnt out trees, low water level, and the green water. I saw several dead crappie. And the only sign of life was the occasional turtle sticking its head up. What kind of fish are those?

I think its some type of carp.

Looks like someone dumped a bunch of goldfish in there at some point... or they were using them for bait... that place really got bad...

if we dont get a bunch of rain this winter that lake will be dry next summer.

I agree fishfinder, with how low the water is now if we get another dry year like last year Elizabeth lake will be nothing but a mud pit. The shoreline is already muddy if you stand in the wrong spot you'll find yourself ankle deep in mud. When we went yesterday I had to keep digging my kids sandals out of the mud.

that place is nasty, i went there in may i believe and found dead fish all over the shoreline.
