Set out to catch some Corbina and Spotfin on the fly this afternoon after fishing the kelp in Oceanside. Got to the water and noticed a lot of fish holding back in an inlet. It was low tide so fish were super easy to see. A lot of doubles and singles cruising together. Did see one big school of beans. Found it funny seeing Spotfin and Corbina swimming in groups together. Anyone ever see this? Used 1x tippet with 250 grain sink tip line. Fish were spooky today. Had many fish bolt when my cast landed 7-10 in front of them. Caught my personal best Spotfin today! Super pumped.
