Just so happened :???::Idea: ( more like what we call a" Divine Appointment"as you will see as the story progresses ) a fishing friend and Brother in the Lord,Randy Pereda, and I were talking about fishing, and I, trying to get him to go to LBC,and or N.O.C with
me some time,but we have diff. days off now.He mentioned he was going on the Freedom leaving fryday ,fishing sat. So,
I say, OOOHHH MAANNN !!! Have not been on a boat in years since certain things have changed !!! Maybe I can talk to
the H.R. at work, and they will give me that day off (since I had the 8hrs. sick leave :Idea:) He says," I tell you what, If you can get off, I will pay half your fair," :EyePop::Shocked: "Ok , I will hit her up as soon as possible " Long story short, she says yes :Big Grin:
Tell my Asst. Manager about it, she says "I am happy you finally get to do something " :Shocked::Big Grin: God bless her !!! (she knows about a family member I have to caretake ) So, now it is set, and I call the landing to reserve, and now got that set, and a week away. Call Randy, talking about tackle and stuff we need to bring, he says he will lend me one
of his poles, and don,t worry about the tackle, I have plenty of everything. ( I have my own stuff, kinda old school,
Penn 3/0 but new line, and a new Penn 5000 spinner, two TLD Shimano Conv. ) We got got everything figured out
what we may need according to what the fish reports have been saying ? ( We actually were looking forward to getting into some yellows, but as you can see that did not happen !!! Notice on the fish count, the #1 Halibut caught !!! THAT
WAS THE ONE RANDY CAUGHT, AND THAT WAS THE JACKPOT !!! :Dancing Banana:as you will see in the Pic,s. Nothing short of a
Gift from God, the way I see it :Smile: Because the WORD says " ALL Good things come from the Father" not Poseidon :LOL:
Now turns out, Randy did not even enter the jackpot because his conviction is, is that it is "Gambling" and we as
Christians are not to Gamble. BUT it turned out in the end, just before the Weigh in, the other guy we were fishing with put him in the jackpot :Shocked::LOL::LOL: There was four of us all together fishing together (Randys other fishing friends). Now here is the blessing from the Father and Jesus that I have to tell you about !!! Randy told me "I am going to pay your
your whole fair :Shocked: right after I told him everything is set with my work, and someone caretaking my wife while I
fish !!!! I was Humbled and a little :Embarrassed: on the phone, but I knew God will use it to protect and bless him someday
for doing that, because that is how the Fathers heart is :Smile: "What soever a man sows, that shall he Reap"
and " I will bless those that bless you" His promise is to those of us who are his children, and to those that bless.
NOW so, we are on the boat setting up our poles , he says to me, Daniel, This is your pole, I am giving it to you:Shocked: :Big Grin:

the REVO 50 Reel with the Phenix rod set up is so light, I can hold it straight up with thumb and forefinger on the end

We all caught a mix of fish, but when the deck hand was going to fillet his Hali,
he told hime to bag the hali meat evenly in four diff. bags :Cool: We all got hali fillets !!!!
