Me and Hensen got on the jetty around 7 and I launch my big hammer first before we did some bait fishing.
Condition was warm, water was a bit choppy, but manageable. Spotted Daren walking down, he dropped his gear, loop a LC on his bait caster and started working. Shortly after that BAM, he probably caught like 5 lizard fish before he caught a CUDA! At first we thought it was a smelt or some short, but when we got closer it was a barracuda:Shocked:
About 30 mins later, Hensen set the hook on a halibut, it was short(14-16 in) but it was fun for him because he was never a crank,plastic,hard bait type of guy, but this totally changed his mind!:Twisted:
Fish Caught and Release 7-930pm
5 Lizard fish, 2 small Barracuda, 1 Short halibut
All fish were release after a quick photo ( we even had a couple of guys near us telling us different, like why would you release it, giving us the strange look of "its just one fish who cares" but we didnt see them catching anything :LOL:
unfortunately, i got the skunked :Skunk: until next time!
