6_27_12 CDM Jetty mini-session

Got out of work early and did some jetty fishing since the surf was packed with people through sunset.

There was a pretty ridiculous set of waves that would come in and smash on the jetty every 10minutes or so, so the conditions were not ideal.

We still managed 3 fish, the smallest flatty I have ever seen (4 inches) my buddy didnt even feel it only found it when he brought his rig in to check if his bait was still on.

A perch (Walleye?), and I landed a decent YFC on of all things a sabiki!!! I cant believe the hook stayed in and was a solid lip hook heh.

Way to stick it out and beat the :Skunk:......I have not had much success at that spot myself.

By Tues things should calm a bit, might try it again?

I have the whole week off myself and will be hittin a few AO's over the next ten days or so......

Mini sessions are good. 90% of my fishing is mini sessions, lol.

Way to go with the skunk busters thru some tough conditions. Even the mini sessions beat not fishing at all.

Mini fish for a mini session. Imagine what you can accomplish if you had a jumbo session? Great job out there and thanks for taking the time to post up your report. We need more reports!!
