Hey, can anyone recommend me cheap trout spinning rod combo for no more than 60$ bucks. I am going to be buying a set of three. All of my current trout gear is either broken or really worn out. Any other tips or advice is appreciated.

I picked up the daiwa presso 8ft for 2lb test for $65 and been very pleased with its performance(use it for drop shot). I think if you want to go cheaper I would go with the daiwa spinnmatic rods(around $29 online) and you can pick up shimano sienna reel for around $30. If you could afford more I would go with shimano sedona reels.

For decent quality, you can pair Shimano Solora rods with their Sienna reels as well. You'll be just under 60 bucks if not even less than that if you shop around.

Thanks for the suggestions! :) Btw what kind of length, line weight, and rod action should I get?

Berkeley Trout Dough rod- $30 at Big 5. It's an excellent rod for the money.

Yeah, I'm thinking of buying one of those bright green Trout Dough rods myself, or maybe get it for my grandson first and see how it does.

nice rod for the price or also look in to the BPS microlite series (yellow ones) nice rods for the price as well a little on the heavier side if ur going to be jiggin all day or throwing lure but for a bait and wait they are perfect with nice sensitivity

i usually go with a 7'6 to get out my the worm a lil farther but for baiting i use all different sizes from a 5' to the 7'6 for line weight 2 lb is what i use and the rods are all UL(ultra light)
