Bass and Garrr on the surface iron... AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!

Just got off the San Pedro Special out of 22nd Street Landing. The fish were eager to play this morning and we caught several gar and calicos on the surface iron as well as on bait. Flat calm water with a downhill current, nice cool foggy weather, nice load of friendly anglers, and fish that were happy to bite. A perfect local trip! Here's a Calico my daughter took on the surface iron. One of 4 she got today!

This was our first time aboard her and she fishes really nice for an old girl. Good width along the sides to pass by other anglers at the rail and reasonably low to the water. She get's bit!!!
