ATTENTION Private Boaters
With the water levels dropping around the lake, we have cleared the launch ramp area of grass.
So, for all those that have 15' or larger vessels, you can now launch with ease!! :Cool:

Yay! Did clearing that $#!t requirea Missippi river dredge or what...
The water is too shallow, you have to drive your car in the water to launch your boat, can you relocate the launch ramp near the flats ..lo

Agreed!!! I launched there last night. Stalled twice trying to make it out of the swamp and twice trying to get back in that night. THat entire end of the lake is a mess. Please move the ramp to the back side of trout island.
And those damn catfish still elude me. 4 trips with no bites now. That's why it's called fishing and not catching. :Crying:

**For those with larger boats, there is a 2nd launch that was opened Monday July 1st.
(Trout Island Launch, located on the back side)
*For those with smaller boats, you can still launch off the main ramp until further notice, as water drops/raises accordingly.

This launch ramp is great, used it last nite. A long back down but worth it. And the dock is huge and nicely built. Good job guys:Cool:
