LICENSE IN HAND!, I headed back to the jetty spot that I was slaying BSP yesterday afternoon. I arrived at 8:30 am and fished until 10:30 am. High tide peaked at 11:10am this morning.
I was using the same bait and set-up as yesterday however the swells were larger and there was a lot of trash and sea weed floating around in the water.
I did learn something today though. Bigger bait=bigger fish. I know, "no sh*t sherlock" right? Well, yesterday I pulled fresh mussels from the rocks but today I had those radioactive sized mussels you can buy by the tub.
Fishing was a lot tougher today and I didn't get nearly as many bites or caught as much fish as I did yesterday but fun none the less. Except for the 3-4 foot waves that were pounding the rocks in turn soaking the hell out of me.
Anyhow here's the pics of the 3 decent fish out of the 5 I caught this morning. I gotta go get the catfish gear ready for my all day/night Irvine excursion tomorrow. Enjoy:
