Hey FNN! I had a chance to meet Tim Dotson recently on an FLW adventure in the California Delta. Tim is a super nice and incredibly intelligent person who is part of an amazing team developing the Strike Cam. What it is, an inline "sled" camera that you will be able to place in front of your bait allowing you to record live video of your bait and fish reacting to your bait. I am looking forward to seeing the final product, but with just the brief amount of time that I got to spend with Mr. Dotson, I can say that no details will be missed in the design of this product.

The camera is in the early stages, but the prototype I saw had two points of connection. Imagine a barrel swivel (but larger of course), so you have your main line then a leader line tied to it. This would be a good candidate for a heavier main line or braided line with a lighter leader. I would rather donate a lure than the camera! I will keep you posted as the final design is released.
