I went to DVL this morning after being out of town for two weeks and the lake changed allot. The algae was gone and the water was in the mid 70's but it dropped about 14 ft. since the last time I was there. The spinner bait bite was gone and no top water action for me at all. I finally caught bass on a T-rig near the saddle dam. Other people I talked to said they caught bass on top water late in the morning. Something new the lake is now doing is letting you fish at night on July 12 from 7:00 pm. till mid night. I have never fished DVL at night and I think I will give it a try on the 12th. I left the lake at noon with a couple of nice 3 lb. fish caught and released.41569
