It was pretty windy but we found some coves that were protected from the wind. Between my partner and I we put about 30 fish in the boat all caught on chatterbait, dropshot and flickshake. Threw a 7" swimbait for a while but no love. Nothing too big, but definitely fun.

nice. what kind of fish? green carp or striper??

Haha sorry for not specifying. All largemouth bass. And this was at the upper lake. I need to try striper fishing someday though!! I hear they are excellent eating!!

They (stripers) fight much better. Largemouth fight like wet plastic bags by comparison. :Big Grin:

I'm glad that I don't call them Green Carp. That is rude.
UGB is much better! Insulting carp like that is uncalled for.

Ya, but nothing compares to the rush when I put the hot foot throttle down on the 200hp on the back of "Ole Blue". Oh I forgot about the speed limits on Calif waters and at 18.6 gals per hour at WOT I tend to use the electric trolling motor a lot.
