Report 6/12/13 How Did Everyone Do In The Fog

As I passed Scott road at 5:30 I called my cousin who is my usual fishing partner and told him to look outside at the fog and told him today was going to be epic. He was bummed that he had to work today but we had fished DVL yesterday for 10 in the 1-3 pound range. Got to the lake around 6 I did not reserve a boat but was lucky enough to get one of the lund boats. The wind was blowing hard all day but I was able to keep the boat in reverse and stay in one spot with the wind blowing.

I fished a reaction bait all day on 4 pound fire line, landed 9 fish lost 3 at the boat. My buddy fished a little of everything for 2 fish. It is amazing how the grade of fish can change so much in one day fishing the same spots. This was my 4th time fishing DVL and it amazes me how hard these fish fight compared to Skinner where I USED to fish. I am hook on DVL.

Theres a spot across from the marina and the only time I have caught fish here is around 11 on spinner baits.

Dude, is it just me or did those fish look kinda thin? They were THICK and chunky just about a month ago....

I was out yesterday. Had two return two basic rentals for a third which kinda screwed the morning for me.
I raced back to the area I was fishing to chase the fog with the blade. Ended up going 4 for 5. One blade fish and three fish on creature baits and deeper water. The fish were all chunky with a bonus smally.

Is it just my luck or are the 4/0 EWGs perfect size for going right through the fishes nostril. Hooked 3 this way.
