Decided to work the jetty instead of the surf because the waves were huge and there was to much garbage in the water.Got to marina del ray jetty at around 10am (slept in a bit haha)It was time to break in my new Lamiglass 1311. Started off using a gulp pogy ,but It had literally no movement. Switched to the gulp 4inch camo mullet on a 1/2 ounce dart head. First spot resulted in a 14 inch halibut yeahhh no skunk for me :lol:

Then nothing for 2 1/2 hours then 5 mins before I am about leave I land a pretty big lizard fish.

Overall, it was nice trip and I really like the power and sensitivity of my new rod. I can't wait to test it against much larger fish hehe.
