I've fished on the freelance a few weeks back for the 7-12 (twilight) and they were targeting Bass. You can always ask the guys inside what they are going for that day, the crew was super nice. Hopefully when you head out for the 3/4 they will go around Catalina and the barracudas will be out!

I also bought 2, the Freelance is the biggest 3/4 day boat I've been on. The downside is that they are at max capacity on the weekends usually and the weekdays are around half full. Its $15 to park, but if you valet you can get validation & it'll be $10 instead But don't forget to tip them!
