Corona 3rd June report boat

Got to a spot I scouted last week but wrong time frame and it paid off. Fished from 6-9pm with a pretty steady bite. Mackerel fly lined in the submerged trees. Lots of structure. My biggest fish was a great fight, saw my rod go bendo, grabbed the rod and fought for about 5 minutes. Problem was he went into the trees and I couldn't pull him out which I thought it was over but I gave a little slack and he came out. Weighed 4 1/2 lbs. 5 fish total weighed 16 lbs and I lost a lot of hooks due to the trees and couple at the boat. Great time fishing cats on lite line. Left them wide open. Few of them had some bellies on them with eggs.

Get out there and catch some cats, ya just need to find your spot and you will nail them.

I've had an eye on that trip, depends on a bass tourney. It would be great to a bunch of the Team 57 guys.

Sorry for late response, no attractant but I am keeping the Mac on ice so it doesn't sog up
