Fished Dockweiler today from 9:30am to noon. Started on the beach using a 3inch swimbait for nothing then moved to the jetty. Tossed the LC and dropshot for while ,but nothing not even a nibble. So as I was tossing a 4inch swimbait ,a freaken pelican decides to fly right into my line. The line starts peeling off because my drag was light and makes it half way across the channel before I can tighten my drag. I was gonna reel in the bird and release him but there were boats heading towards my line so had to cut it off. It was quite a windy day ,but very nice walking weather.
