View Full Version : Here kitty, kitty, 116 pounds worth, Catfish are on fire!!!

Well the catfish are on fire at the Vine, we went out and found their holding spots. We started at 9:30 and I limited and started my second limit pass around 12:45. I went to Ranch 99 Market and got FRESH Mackerel for less than $2 cut it myself and saved $5.99, 99ranch.com and you can find the closest one to you and save all kinds of money this catfish season. I used the Shrimp flavored Pro Cure and that seemed to get the larger cats that were landed today. I ended up with 10 catfish for 59.9 pounds today and we had 116 pounds on our boat and over 33 pounds on the other boat, its was just an epic bite today. I was using 12 pound Izorline and 3/0 Owner Circle Hooks today, no weight just fly lined the bait. Today was the best day for cats I've had at the Vine in recent memory. I can't wait to go out and find some more
