Heading out this week in search of a butt

Hey there,

im planning on going out again this saturday morning in search of that elusive butt and wanted to now if anyone knows if the surf's going to be up again? also, is anyone fishing at night during the grunion run? what are the rules for fishing during the gruinion? i dont mind getting skunked, im use to it (lol), but i dont want a cititation. Not sure where to fish, been fishing down souht by PV and had no luck, thinking of heading up north now, maybe i'll have better luck. if anyone wants to roll let me know, i can drive.

I'm not to sure about the rules for the beaches being on it at night but I know this coming grunion run you can fish it but can't take or use them as bait. I asked the local ranger at the beach if it was okay to be on the beach at night and he said it's fine but you'll have to park somewhere else since the state parking closes. Good luck Alex. Looks like a bunch of guys are planning to fish the grunion run. :Smile:
