Kayak fishing info ventura / oxnard

So what type of fish can some one catch from the oxnard or ventura harbor? Thinking of fishing off my kayak... Moving to Ventura county....Is their any Yak club out here that does any group fishing, or any one that would not might heading out. Is there any kelp paths near. I am use to fishing Point Loma kelp off of San Diego Bay or Mission Bay to La Jolla kelp.
