Late report 5/17/13 - Good day

Finally had a chance to get out to DVL almost all day on a buddies bass boat. We got 25 LMB, all 1-3 pounders, no big ones. It was a mostly cloudy day with the wind varying on and off all day. We got stuck throwing mostly senkos, because that is what we got them on early. I threw a spinnerbait off and on, got one - happiest fish of the day for me. I also threw some t-rig late for 3 off steeper ledges.Most fish came off points with brush. Going out again Friday afternoon, hopefully with just the spinnerbait.

Good job out there! The bites a grind and you really have to work for those fish. I stuck with the blade on Tuesday and did fairly well. Cast cast cast to every conceivable spot you think might hold fish. The bite has backed off a bit from a couple of weeks ago, but there's fish still to be had. I did get a t-rig and a couple of sissy shot fish as well. Good luck on Friday and thanks for the report...
