Got out for a quick session before i had to go to work, got to the AO by 630 and left by 9. Nice conditions, got a bat ray and a short halibut, Release video of the short is pretty cool :Razz:. Made having to go in 12-9 slightly better afterward :Rolls Eyes:

That was a very spirited little Hali. :Shocked:
I find that just about all short Halibut fight great regardless of how short they are.
Legals between 22" and 28" fights the best. I can honestly say that a 26" - 28" Halibut fights better than any 30"+ I've ever caught.
The bigger ones seems to throw in the towel much quicker than the shorter ones. :Neutral: At least the ones I've caught. :Wink:
