Go search bank fishing system, they got decent carp rods for good price. Also check put bigcarptackle.com for terminal tackles you will need, baitfeeder just go with Okuma Avenger Baitfeeeder size 50 from walmart, which is around 45 bucks.

I see post where guys swear by diawa baitfeeder .... I'm usually a shimano guy .....but change of venues change of gear

Scorpiontackle is in the inland empire.
Ive looked into carp rods and Daiwa has a few. Then decided I didn't need it.
But did get a Daiwa bri and you can double it as a carp reel and a surf reel for batrays. Just get the 5500 one as the the 4500 holds less line.
