another northern swat report - points for the young guys

Fished the surf in Santa Barbara for a couple of hours yesterday morning.

Gorgeous conditions with clear water, no surf, and no salad.

Fished the 3" big hammer swimbait on a 3/16 oz leadhead.

Managed to land a 25" legal and like a 16" short halibut.

My friend has been bugging me for some fresh fish, the the legal was invited home.

Also saw a couple large shovelnose guitarfish and managed to spook a few more flatties.

Glad to earn some points for the young guys but Mikey (exfactor) had to out do me later that day.

Mikey - I'm jealous but nice fish man. Wish I had been there with you.

Anyways, I will try to add pictures later when I get a chance.
