The Channel Catfish bite went off this weekend at the lake as anglers found the Whiskerfish to be biting full speed after a plant of 10,000lb of Trohpy sized fish took place this Thursday. Anglers that showed up to the lake and found the hot spot where rewarded with hard pulling Trophy sized fish that where eager to bite and left some anglers with double limits in excess 100lb's!!! Anglers reported success on fly lined baits but the Bite On Mac bites and Mackeral soaked in Bite On Cajun where the overwhellming favorite baits. I wont say much more about the bite instead like always I will let the photos do the talking for me!!

The Garica fam with a impressive stringer of Channel Catfish. Word on the lake is that the youngest Garcia Derek is the best fisherman of the group. Cant wait to see little Derek on the water.

Come out to the lake and enjoy this bite while it is still red hot! What better way to spend a Mothers Day then pulling on some Trohpy Sized Cats at a REAL lake located in the heart of Orange County! With the way fishing has been today you could have your limits and be at the El Torito brunch by 10am!
And a little birdie told me there is another one of these 10,000lb stocking coming up again in the very near future! Cant wait for summer night fishing to begin on June 7th!! Anglers fishing that day are going to be in for a treat!
