So it was my first time there today, got there a little late after hitting up lake Hemet, so around 0600. Drove around the lake twice looking for an area to get in or find a lake employee to ask questions. Finally found the area to park so I can hike all the way out to SS2 to do some bowfishing. well I must say, since it was so late in the evening, visibility was junk. Not even a 1ft. But, as I was walking the shore a lot of fish would swim away when I got within 10ft(seriously, more carp then I've ever seen at BB). So after many missed shots into nothing, and ruining a tip for my arrow, I figured out you have to stalk and shoot right at where they were thrashing around. Only ended up bagging one, but since I didn't get outta there until 0800, I had to get back to my car in the dark(quickly I might add since there should be some predators around and I'm carrying a stinky fish). Next time I'll be there earlier, with a bike. Should be killer.
