Was not going to post, being only caught a shorty AGAIN !!! :LOL:
Yet, there happened to be another fisherman who caught a
decent Hali himself, who happened to ask me to take a pic of his catch,
and also asked me for a tape measure being also I said to him "looks short
to me,and I heard they give you a thousand dollar fine too "!!! :Twisted::LOL::LOL::LOL:
Guess I was jelous cuz he was using Live- Bait :Rolls Eyes: That,s like cheating to
me :LOL::LOL: So here is his fish, because I told him I would post it, and my conscience
keeps telling me "Do what you said"

Been a lot of fisherman keeping shorts in NOC !!! So the locals have been
telling me :Shocked:

That's a 17-18in fish at best, I wouldn't have let him take it.

I don't think your halibut is short because I don't think its halibut. Its a sole, look at the tail its rounded. I've seen a couple of these over the years but they are very rare at best.. Nice catch.. Nice job on the rare catch..

WOW, I did not know it was a SOLE :Shocked: Caught a few "Diamond Turbots" lately and thought they were
a rare catch too for Seal Beach area at least.
