Arrived early today in anticipation of a decent size line being a Friday. Surprisingly ended up being 4th in line, 3rd boat. Very cool. Gate opens and we ended up first to disperse and headed straight to our as of late first stop. This stop has produced for us without fail for the last several weeks and today was no different, fourth cast, first fish on, a 6-6 fat pig. Ya baby, this is going to be a good day indeed.

Worked our way down the bank and stuck a couple more cookie cutter 2-3lbers then on to the next spot for a few more plus this nice 4-4;

Spent the rest of the day bouncing from spot to spot catching fish at various stops. Most fish caught were right around this size;

until towards the end of the day we were fishing some of our favorite late afternoon honey holes when I saw a little disturbance on the surface, I picked up my rod rigged with a senko for when I get short strikes and cast to the bulls-eye and then POW, I get hit hard. This fish peels line and I thought I had a lunker bass until after a several minute fight, I saw this appear from the depths;

She weighed 13-11.
Great day on the water. I boated 11 keeper LMB's, a few dinks (we don't count them), and one fat cat. Our boat total for the day was 15 fish. All my fish were caught using jigs, t-rigs, and a couple were stuck with a spinner bait. My buddy Bill caught his with a D/S...
