bass-acer called me and wanted to do some fishing with his uncle and cousin ,so we hooked up at the gate .figured out if we needed any bait , i was down to one good bag of fresh frozen by me, we had eveything else but i decided to buy bait at the gate but that wasnt a good idea,the bite was slow and the bad bait didnt help. with the striper they way there are right now keying in on bait you habve to have good stuff or you wont have the same action. we hit the boat threw a couple lure for stock trout got kicked out the area by the troutbitch . so off we went to do some trolling ,down the channel we went we passed over some good shad schools and we got tagged and got a nice fish we circled around and ran back thru the school and got a badass hookup acer was up and the rod was doing super bendo ,i stopped the boat and cleared the other rig and the fight was on. big head shakes fighting after a while the fish got close to the boat and i could see it was a triple hookup,the fish pushing 7lbs then a couple 4lbers. we worked the area a while longer but no more luck . so we trolled to the bait areas. the bigger action was on the lugworms bloodworms and crawlers. the shad wasnt piled up and niether were the stripers. after several moves and minium fish we trolled to the east end of the lake . we didnt get any troll action ,then anchored in one of my old time spots we were getting little hits ,the acer stuck another nice fish a 6lber or so , we ran out of time and we pulled anchor and headed in...............thank you acer for using my service again and for the food and drinks and all the laughs of a good day on the water for killin little piggies,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,T/O,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
