Nph 4-29 with bass widow

I put out a feeler Sunday night lookingto see if anyone wanted to wet a line with no responses. So as Monday was coming and going, I asked Bass Widow (Becky) if she wanted to head down to NPH for an evening session on foot. After some thought, we decided to go and take the bass boat. We arrived about 1730 and were on the water by 1800. We made our way down to Balboa Island to grab some dinner before we fished. We got our dinner and took us to our first spot just below Bay Island.......

As I ate I motored along some docks so Becky could start her mission and it was now close to 1900.

That area did not produce so I made a move to the north side of Bay Island, Steve's favorite place. Did not take long and we both hooked up at the same time. Mine was a dink Hali that is not worthy of the post.

I then got the next one.

All the above fish came from Bay Island on 3 inch BH with 1/4 oz LH. Very slow retrieve.

As darkness fell and the wind was up we and headed back to the launch I decided to try the PCH bridge, it was the usual wind tunnel but I was able to make a couple passses and Becky took advantage and nailed this quality spottie!

We were off the water a little after 2100 and all in all it was a pretty good couple of hours of fishing and we got to spend some time together relaxing (Kind of, I was not relaxed trying to keep up with Bass Widow).

I had one other spottie that was too small to take a pic, so we left the grounds tied at 4 spotties each with some missed bites by Farmer Eddie.
