Finally!

I finally got the skunk off of me and got a fish worth posting pictures about. Got a tube at the beginning of the month, and finally got it in the water at the Castatic Lagoon, Sunday. It was a day of first. First time in a float tube, first time using the drop shot technique, and first time caching a fish at Castatic. A friend of mine and I got there a little after 6AM and spend the day there. He caught 9 and I caught 1. his biggest was 4.6 lbs and mine was just a little north of 3 lbs. All fish were released.

Thanks for the kind words. I do not get to fish as much as I used to or like to. Started to wonder if I have completely lost my skills or if the skunk was never going to leave me. Regardless 1 fish could be though of as luck. Now I got to catch more and more regularly.
