This is my first fish report so bare with me.
Location: SOMEWHERE IN LB :EyePop:
Wind: mild wind then slowed down around 7
Time:630-10
Walking out to our spot and setting up all the gear, my friend kyle started throwing out his crank bait.
a little after 7, BOOM, he fought his first halibut on crank! The fight was on, took him about 10 mins, he just didnt want to come in. We would see him and he was dive back in as he got closer to the rocks. The end result, 25in 7.4lb, HIS FIRST LEGAL ON HIS CRANK BAIT!

A little before sunset, I kept tossing out my minnow ( first time ever touching these stuff and now I am hooked and a firm believer!) I hooked my first sand bass, but as it got closer, the first jump, smack a rock and my line snap (6lb test).:Crying: Even though i lost my fish and minnow, it was a very good experience using them.
LESSON LEARNED!:Envious:
About 930 setting up to leave, I was reeling in my rod, felt a nibble, and BOOM, the fight was on! I DIDNT get skunked that night! :Envious::Envious:

Other fish caught that night with no pictures :Secret:
3 small batrays- Daren
2 HUGE (maybe 30+ lb) batrays - couple of guys about 30 yards from us
Cant wait to do this again, messing around with these new lures and crank changed the way i feel about fishing!
