For the event FishingLakes donated three pontoons for the veterans to be taken out fishing for the day on. Team 57 sent out four guides for the day to help get them on some fish. Lets just say they had a lot of success and everyone had a blast!
Big Daddy and I started out the morning by the Bubble Hole. Big Daddy ended up hooking up almost right away and landed this small carp.

By 7am we got the call that the Veterans were ready. We headed in to pick them up. Soon after I took this picture of the first pontoon to hook up.

Around noon Captain Big Daddy cooked up some pulled pork sandwich's with coleslaw and potato salad on his pontoon and fed everyone in his group. After that he called me and asked if I'd drive over on my boat and deliver plates to the other two pontoons. After I delivered all the food there was still plenty left so I delivered another ten plates to all the guys on shore. Here's a picture of Captain Big Daddy working his magic!

This Father & Son on shore ended up getting plates too and I later found out they were the ones who ended up winning the tournament. A double win in my book!

It was an honor and a privilege to fish wih the guys and gals from Project Healing Waters. Wes and the whole FishingLakes crew really put together a great event for a good cause. All the sponsors really stepped it up.
I'll have more pictures to add to this thread as I get them from the other guys so check back often. Also if you have any pictures you took at the event please post them here.
