Hume Lake temps

Planning a trip to Hume Lake and my wife does not do well with hot weather. Does anyone know what the weather is like there in mid July? How far is the campground from the lake?

Trout, during the day, mid 90s and mid 60s at night.
I usually stay at the christian camp so I don't have any info on the camp site.
