Friday took the day off to finally go fishing for a few. Started off to the left of west ramp. Was watching the water for signs of fish. Pulled around the corner after losing my rig for a hookup and my first small bass of .... eeek, the year.
Next cast got a hit and a miss, then nothing for a while. It was getting windy so I moved to the rocky side to the right of the launch. I got a better fish, and continued up and down for a bit. Got a hit and a miss, but he picked it back up pitching it back to the same spot.
I didn't see a darn thing the whole time, really, and just grinded it out, but I imagine it was the wind. Green red flake plastics and making some noise with them functioned. pick ups were good and aggressive overall.
