Still West Coastin! Sorry I haven't wrote out any reports. Fishing has been slow on my end, nothing really to report back except the dinks are biting and the weather is not showing any love. Friday I went down to the LA Ports with my buddy Rudy to hit up a new area for some spotties in our tubes. Launched before the sun rose up and the wind was already blowing. We took refuge under a pier, right away we started to get bit. sandies on the chew. Moved over to another to try our luck there. What do you know, it was the right move. Hooked into a nice spottie where I would have never thought they would be at. I was throwing a MC Viejo's 5 inch swim bait with a SWB bait lead head. Couldn't shake them off this combo. Too bad I didn't bring any more of these baits cause thats all they wanted to eat. I kept hooking some structure that wouldn't give back my baits. Straight broke off or just sawed. Oh well, Los Angeles showed us love that morning. Headed home to get ready to see if our team would show us the same kinda luck we had this morning. Sure enough the Dodgers came up and smashed on the Pirates. Good times with the fam! Hope you all like this short report, I will be dropping some more down the line when I get out there and find some better quality fish in the tube,.. Peace!
