I haven't posted a report for a while, but I thought I would let people know how great the fishing at Vail lake is right now... It would be a good time to hit up Art Hill for a trip, you wont be disappointed.
The pics shown here are from two different trips: one with my daughter, Megan, on 3/25, and a two day camping trip I took by myself 4/2 and 4/3. The fish are on the chew and hitting just about anything, but dropshot was working exceptionally well for us. The water temp was 65 degrees out left of the Dam and there were many birds (and fish) dining on shad --a lot of shad in the water. Megan and I put together a 50 fish day (between the two of us) on 3/25 and the April trip was even better. I'm telling you, call Art and get out there!
