no problem. i'm new to boating so learning to anchor by trial and error was not easy. wish i had this video. important is to line up with the wind, lets out lots of rope.

That was a great video. Whenever I rent a boat i just drop the anchors over the side and always ended up going in every direction because I never knew how to properly anchor. Thanks

That short chain is for lakes only.
1 1/2 times the boat length in the salt.
I got 30' of chain on my 18' boat.

Does this technique work with rental boat anchors which are basically coffee cans filled with concrete. I tried anchoring today in a rental and I got blown all around off my spot.
