=( That reminds me of when I was 16 my buddy shot a rabbit with a BB gun......was the most horrible noise and sight I've ever witnessed. I think he shot it like 6 or 7 times point blank and it wouldn't die. He ended up running over it with his moms car. I think I was traumatized for months after that.

I'm with ya on that!! I'm always looking forward to Labor day for the kickoff of dove hunting season followed up by quail, pheasant, duck and geese!! Been contemplating learning how to shoot a bow & arrow and goin' turkey hunting!!I love being outdoors, away from the city....best when you're somewhere that gets no cell reception :D!

There is a club up on the northern California coast that hunts boars with dogs and knives . The guys wait until the dogs are
holding the boar then they jump on it's back and try to kill it with only a knife. I have tracked boars for them with
my Catahoula Leoparddogs but opted to stay on my horse with my rifle . I just don't have that kind of courage or maybe
I have way more sense then to do that . They use Pit Bulls in leather and spiked armor their dogs get hurt bad and so
do some of the guys it's a bloodbath on all sides .

It does even up the whole hunter and hunted playing field a bit!
