Nailed half a dozen decent bass on the main lake on beaver baits, craw papis and a small chartruese spinner. Nothing over 2 pounds but saw lots of FAT females well over 5 pounds cruising the shallows but super spooky.....very frustrating but good to know they are in there. Would have been a much more productive outing if it wasnt for the severe algae bloom that made sight fishing impossible. It was so bad that i observed over 15 dead trout, big ones, in the bottom lake. Turn the water on yucaipa, theres no point in stocking a lake if you are just gonna suffocate the fish to death.
