I've read some reports from guys riding their bikes around the lake to hit different spots along the shore.
Can I cross either of the dams on a bike to access the opposite shoreline from the launch ramp?
Thanks for the help!

no. IF they catch you you'll be issued a ticket.

It was me on the mountain bike a week ago. I stay in the legal shore areas. It helps in hitting more spots faster without all the pesky walking.
You could always call or email the lake to get the info.

I'd love to see the ticket they would try and issue me if nothing is posted......

Well this map from the MWD web site shows a trail for hiking and biking across both dams. However the map also shows a restricted shoreline fishing area also.

One the reasons DVL is not the optimal lake for shorebound anglers.
Perris is a little better, Silverwood is fantastic.
