I lost my nerve for day fishing quarries,but not my bro...got 2 including this smallie before police helicopter got him moving...lol!39906

would never think that azusa quarry would have smallies... they should throw some into peck too

thats a nice smallmouth, and they are especially hard to find in this part of the state... I believe those pits are getting water from the two reservoirs up in Azusa canyon..you can see channels sending water to them crossing under hwy 39 by the two big water tanks by the forest visitor center.... Morris reservoir is supposed to have smallmouths, they might have come in with the water.
