A 42 lb Brown Trout has been caught in New Zealand. If certified, it will become a new world record.

We get monsters like that out here. 20-30lbers are somewhat normal. But that thing looks like something outta land of the lost ! The big browns we have down here on lower lake michigan are true eating machines. My biggest is 21lbs and my first time out on the water in 2006 I had an easy 30lb+ fish on that the hook came out on and it sorta just sat there just out of nets range !!!! Lake michigan is amazing !
