I meant "warming up". Did some white bass and spotted bass fishing Thurs. eve. and got some non-stop action in the backs of coves where creeks come in. The white bass are staging and we found them in 10 to 20 feet of water along with small spotted bass. Slow trolling small kastmasters did the trick.
San Antonio is another story. Trolled for stipers today from 7:30 a.m. until 12:30 without a hit. Worked from Harris Creek down to the dam and back up the other side. Water temp was 59 first thing up to 62 later. Clarity was quite good. Metered scattered fish around 30 to 40 feet, some small bait balls, and out in deep water metered scattered fish and a few loose schools from 80 down to 110 feet. Big rafts of birds over bait. Did the flatline troll early then switched to d.r.'s for no love. 'Should start happening in another month.
