I was told by the person in charge last week at DVL that the unniversal tag will be started April 1st. I of coarse said..."thats April fools day" and she assured me that its for real. I for one will be happy if it really does begin. I wont mind paying the 3 bucks for the unniveral tag.. It will allow me to fish Perris and DVL on back to back days...NICE!!!!!

haha. if there ever was a fee ill gladly pay for it. a small fee is a small price to pay for the annoyance of trying to get every water drop out of your boat and the stress you go through as the boat inspector walks up.
i highly doubt they're charging for it.

There really going to bring this tag fee to Perris? Wtf! That blows. So as a guy that dose not fish anywhere other then Perris, that has a year pass is now going to have to stop and pay some bu!!***** fee just so he can come back to the lake he's been fishing the last 2 years straight and never had to worry about this. That deal sucks. Especially for all the regulars out there. Hopefully they come up with a year tag fee for a reasonable amount.

This is no April fools joke! DVL is the only lake that will be charging the $3 boat band. The other lakes as I know will continue to not charge for their bands. This is great news and we have been working on this for awhile and are very excited to be able to offer this to the anglers to make it easier to move around these lakes without the worries of being quarantined.

I spoke to the person in charge at DVL oday and they WILL NOT be charging extra for the tag...It will be the same tag as always but they will now accept the Perris and Silverwood tag as well...and vice versa

Thanks for the info. I always have a silverwood tag on the boat. Will now get to fish DVL....:Big Grin: without worry of water spilling out of outdrive cause I pre started at home the night before that is only reason have not made the trip down there Thanks again for the info.
