Anyone been up to Lake Gregory? I am thinking the snow is mostly gone and shore fishing is hit and miss. :Fishing Hole:

What do you guys think?

No snow whatsoever. Folks are out and it looks hit and miss. I usually walk the dogs in the AM there and have not seen much going on.

I read on 2 different websites that they haven't stocked Gregory since Oct. 18th. How true that is I'm not sure. I'd call the marina to find out...

There are plenty of fish and they are rising for bugs, if you fly fish you might have some fun. Also Thomas Bouyant's as usual will get a few.

haven't hit it in a while, but i have some friends that do some serious CPR on the Brownies on flies. the shore fishermen are not doing so hot because the Browns are pretty much all thats left and those fish are starting to wise up to that bait n wait crap haha. might get a few depends i guess. go light line, 2 pound, leave the PB at home and bring a ton of crawlers.

They usually stock it in April.

Yep. Totally true. Stocking usually begins around April - May sometime and through the summer to early fall.
