Striper fishing rigs & tackle

I'd like to take the boat up to pyramid or castaic and try to get in on the striper action using frozen anchovies/sardines..
What type of rigs work good for you guys and assuming I'd like to use circle hooks, what would be an appropriate size?
Any advice on rigs and tackle is appreciated!
